Solve M.E. President Oved Amitay Featured on PBS’ White House Chronicle

Fresh off a recent appearance on Llewellyn King’s ME/CFS Alert, Solve M.E. President and CEO Oved Amitay will be the featured guest on King’s PBS show White House Chronicle, premiering today, April 9.

In the episode, King and Amitay discuss Solve M.E.’s efforts to improve education, diagnostics and funding for ME/CFS, how to create a more equitable health care system, and the impact of the You + ME Registry and Biobank on the study of ME/CFS and Long COVID. King has described Amitay as, “A great subject, visionary, articulate and clearly gifted.”

White House Chronicle is syndicated to over 200 commercial and public access television stations across the United States. Amitay Nominated for Healthcare Visionary Award

Solve M.E. CEO Oved Amitay has been nominated as one of the Top 100 Healthcare Visionaries by the International Forum for Advancements on Healthcare (IFAH).

IFAH is a closed group of professionals hailing from diverse backgrounds within the healthcare industry, including pharma, medical devices, therapeutics, mental health, healthtech, and wellness and fitness. IFAH honors, “the great minds who have done exceptional work in the realm of healthcare” whose successful endeavors have enabled them to carve the future of healthcare.

Oved was nominated for his notable work in helping people suffering from genetic ailments through his endeavors with Genzyme, Alnylam, ArRETT, and Centogene. His recent work to advance the research on Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (also known as Chronic Fatigue syndrome, ME/CFS) at Solve M.E.and co-founding the Long COVID Alliance played crucial roles in earning this honor.

The award ceremony will take place at the annual IFAH conference in Las Vegas, June 23-25, 2021.
