Last month, we shared big appropriations wins for our ME/CFS and Long Covid community members via the FY24 Department of Defense Appropriations Report from the House of Representatives, which included funding recommendations that specifically mention ME/CFS and Long Covid. This separate callout was fought for by our team at Solve and advocates during 2023 Advocacy Week!
Now, we’re excited to again share that a recent draft of the Senate Appropriations Bill for FY2024 Labor, Health & Human Services, Education, & Related Agencies includes several callouts for ME/CFS and Long Covid funding specifically advocated for by Solve!
We’ll be keeping an eye on these bills as they move through Congress.
