We invite you to mark your calendars for Tuesday, April 16 and Thursday, April 18 as we gear up for two impactful days of advocacy, collaboration, and change.
We’re hosting this year’s Solve Advocacy Week in a virtual format to ensure that everyone can participate from the safety and convenience of their own homes. It’s never been easier to connect with representatives and share your story!
We are already working with legislators to identify which bills will be most impactful for our community and what we will choose to champion during Solve Advocacy Week 2024. We are committed to advocating for policies that matter to the community and that can bring about meaningful change. To achieve this, we need to keep up the external pressure and make it crystal clear that these bills are important and worth fighting for.
Advocacy Week Highlights:
- Virtual Legislative Meetings: We will meet with our elected officials and their staff. Your voice matters, and your presence can make a significant difference, even in a virtual setting.
- Four Virtual Advocacy Training Workshops: We will provide resources and training ahead of time to help you become a more effective virtual advocate and to ensure we are all able to present a unified and powerful message during our meetings. Whether you’re a seasoned advocate or new to the process, these workshops will empower you with the knowledge and skills you need, as well as provide a chance to connect with your fellow advocates.
- Online Community Engagement: Connect with fellow advocates through virtual networking opportunities, share stories, and build relationships that can strengthen our collective impact. Together, our actions move policy!
- Press and Public Awareness: Advocacy Week is an opportunity to showcase our commitment to important causes, and we will actively engage with the media and the public to raise awareness and build support for the bills we champion.
