Understanding Long COVID Across Communities of Color, Including Those Hardest Hit by COVID

January 21, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm UTC+0

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is hosting a listening session, “Understanding Long COVID Across Communities of Color, Including Those Hardest Hit by COVID” on Friday 1/21 from 2PM – 4PM EST.
The event will be hosted by the NIH RECOVER Initiative and the Initiative’s Clinical Science Core (CSC) at NYU Langone Health. This Listening Session is part of a series of ongoing engagement activities that enable the RECOVER Initiative to hear from and better understand affected communities’ experiences, needs, and priorities — and, in this case, specifically, how Long COVID is affecting communities of color. Recognizing that communities of color are disproportionately affected by COVID-19, it is likely that they similarly might experience a disproportionate burden of Long COVID.
