The 2nd Interagency ME/CFS Working Group Meeting Tackles Long COVID, ME/CFS Resources

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and National Institute of Health (NIH) are hosting the 2nd ME/CFS interagency meeting next week. The working group will address workforce development and education of ME/CFS healthcare providers as well as share updates about current activities to address prolonged illness following COVID-19, post-acute COVID-19 syndrome (PACS) also referred to as “long COVID.”

The first day includes a discussion on clinical care for ME/CFS with a presentation on the need by patient orgs and the clinical perspective based on a survey of ME/CFS clinicians. The second day is on Long COVID Interagency ME/CFS Working Group Meeting.

The events will be held on Feb. 25 & 26 at 1PM ET. Attendees have the option to register for both webinars but must register for each day separately.
