Sign up for “The Solve M.E. 2026 Community Address: Shaping What Comes Next”

On October 20th at 1 pm PT / 4 pm ET, Solve M.E. is bringing our community together for the 2026 Community Address: Shaping What Comes Next, a live conversation about how we are thinking about science and advocacy as we approach the midterms, and your role in what comes next.

For two years, this community has been playing defense, protecting federal programs and holding the line while research funding and the agencies we depend on were pulled apart. But holding the line was never the goal.

With a new Congress ahead, we are planning to make the most of the opportunity to rebuild the research infrastructure this field runs on; and to make sure ME/CFS and associated conditions are part of that rebuild instead of left out again.

Here’s what we’ll get into:

  • How far this community has moved the science in forty years, and why we feel hopeful about the scientific progress we are seeing.
  • What we’ve already won together.
  • The fight ahead over research funding and infrastructure, and the specific federal decisions that will shape the next decade of research
  • The Long Game, our new year-round advocacy training program, including instructions on what we’ll be doing together right after the midterm election results are confirmed.

Join President & CEO, Emily Taylor, Director of Advocacy, Monique Wike, Chief Scientific Officer, Sadie Whittaker, PhD, and VP of Scientific Programs, Jessica Maya, PhD, as we lay out the plan for the year ahead and talk about your role in it.
