Solve M.E. Welcomes Chief Operating Officer TaKeisha S. Walker

Solve M.E. is pleased to announce that TaKeisha S. Walker recently joined us as chief operating officer. In this newly-created role reporting to CEO Oved Amitay, TaKeisha will lead Solve’s communications, finance, and development strategies and manage cross functional  operations. 

“We are thrilled to welcome TaKeisha to the team. She brings a strong leadership background to Solve, and her proven track-record in philanthropy and patient advocacy will help advance our mission on behalf of the community,” said Oved.

TaKeisha’s leadership career includes work in the disability, environmental, and education communities, most recently as chief operating officer at The Amputee Coalition of America. 

On her new role at Solve M.E., TaKeisha remarked, “As a Black woman with an invisible disability, I am proud to continue my commitment to equity and work on behalf of millions living with ME/CFS, Long Covid, and other post-infection diseases.”

TaKeisha holds a Master of Science in Management and Marketing from the University of Maryland University College, a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from the University of Missouri Kansas City, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Communications from the University of Tulsa. She is also a certified professional development facilitator.
