Solve Fights Proposal to Dismantle Federal Research Infrastructure
A proposed federal rule would change how the government funds and oversees research. Those grants are what move the needle toward better testing, treatments, and future cures for ME/CFS and Long Covid, so Solve spoke up.

Solve is far from alone. More than 70,000 comments have already been filed, and we’ve spent recent weeks talking with universities, trade associations, educators, and patient alliances from multiple fields. This regulatory guidance would reach every sector of our society, not only ours.
Solve Director of Advocacy and Engagement Monique Wike noted, “Scientific discovery depends on a strong, independent research infrastructure. When that foundation is weakened, patients pay the price. Solve M.E. will continue standing up for evidence-based policy because every person living with ME/CFS and Long Covid deserves hope grounded in science.”
