The Bateman Horne Center is a nonprofit Center of Excellence engaged in research, medical education, and clinical consulting specifically for Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS), Fibromyalgia (FM), and other related illnesses. Founder and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Cindy Bateman is also a member of the Solve M.E. Research Advisory Council (RAC).

In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, BHC’s mission to provide high-quality education, resources, and guidance to those with ME/CFS and FM remains unwavering. We have compiled a series of informative handouts and resources aimed at empowering you during this difficult time. Through knowledge, awareness, and preparedness, we aim to calm the uncertainty. On March 20, 2020, the Bateman Horne Center clinicians addressed COVID-19 in a 50-minute program featuring Research Director Dr. Vernon who covers SARS, CoV-2, and COVID-19. Also featured were Medical Director Dr. Cindy Bateman (member of the Solve M.E. Research Advisory Council) and physician Dr. Yellman, who provided an overview of COVID-19’s impact on the medical system, guidance for personal safety, a preview of potential treatments, and answered frequently asked questions from people with ME/CFS and FM.
