We were deeply saddened to learn of the recent passing of Dr. Ron Tompkins, MD, ScD, chief medical officer at Open Medicine Foundation (OMF).Tompkins is remembered as a gifted scientist and doctor, a compassionate thought leader, and a dedicated advocate for the patient community.Solve M.E. He never accepted the biases within the medical field that harm people with ME/CFS and fought to change them. The research network that he helped build will be part of his enduring legacy.
