DO I HAVE LONG COVID? QUIZ

Take our short quiz based on criteria identified by Long Covid clinicians + researchers to see if you may have Long Covid.

While we cannot provide medical advice, we hope this simple quiz, which is grounded in science, is useful.

The World Health Organization (WHO) defines Long Covid (or Post COVID-19 condition) as occurring in individuals with a history of probable or confirmed SARS CoV-2 infection, usually 3 months from the onset of COVID-19 with symptoms and that last for at least 2 months and cannot be explained by an alternative diagnosis.

Common symptoms include fatigue, shortness of breath, cognitive dysfunction but also others and generally have an impact on everyday functioning. Symptoms may be new onset following initial recovery from an acute COVID-19 episode or persist from the initial illness. Symptoms may also fluctuate or relapse over time, and can affect a person’s ability to perform daily activities such as work or household chores.

Because there is no agreed-upon clinical definition of Long Covid + because Long Covid has too many symptoms to be captured in a quiz, it is possible for someone to have Long Covid even if they do not meet the criteria used here, and likewise for the converse to be true.
